VPEG2400: Sulfate-Resistant Monomer
VPEG / Alkylallylether Polyethylene Glycol
VPEG is used as a raw material of concrete admixtures.
Admixtures with VPEG reduce water content by more than 30%, through which the strength of concrete is improved.
VPEG is widely used to manufacture high-performance concrete.
By using high-purity VPEG from EVERSTAR, the manufacturing process of admixtures can be simplified.
Marine Environment Specialist: 100+ Year Service Life
- Corrosion Defense: Allyl ether structure blocks SO₄²⁻ attack (<5% strength loss)
- Chloride Resistance: Zeta potential modulation reduces Cl⁻ permeability by 40%
VPEG Series: Polyethylene glycol monomethallyl ether (CAS No : 31497-33-3)
VPEG is polyethylene glycol monomethallyl ether that has vinyl group. It can be radically copolymerized with suitable comonomers such as maleic acid, maleic anhydride and acrylic acid to raise the dispersibility and slow down the concrete setting process. Also, PCE applied with VPEG-3000 / 4000 can develop higher strength than that applied with low molecular weight of VPEG series.
